Guest suggestions

I would love to see Kevin chat with any combination of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" alumni. They're all still active, albeit in two seperate (yet eqeally awesome) groups now.

Joel Hodgson and the original cast are still doing the b-movie thing as "Cinematic Titanic", while Mike Nelson and the bots have been making audio commentaries for more modern movies (like Twilight or Transformers) on the website, "Rifftrax.com".

I think they're all still as good as ever, and I'd love to hear their stories.

Dav3, I hope you don't mind me invading your thread for my own suggestion. ;)

I would also love to see Joel McHale or some Freaks&Geeks alumni, e.g. Martin Starr.

Can we just make this the Official KPCS Forum thread for who we would like to see on the show?

Because I would like to hijack it too.

Both the suggestions I have seen so far are Excellent ones and would like to see them on the show if possible.
But as I said I want to throw in a couple of my own suggestions.

Michael Winslow
Some may only know him as Motor Mouth Jones from the Police Academy films and a brief appearance in Space Balls.
It would be nice to know what he is up to these days. I know he has been working a bit of stand up and some voice work on several shows. But it would be great to see him in person again and hear what else he is up to these days.

The second suggestion is one I would be surprised if Kevin hasn't already thought of.
Anyone from the
Bob and Tom show.
It would most likely have to be in conjunction with a tour stop of the friends of Bob and Tom show tour.
He could do a one on one with Kristie Lee or Chic McGee. Possibly even get Bob and or Tom themselves providing they could find the time to come out to LA. It would be a hoot to see any of them as the interviewee and not the interviewer.

EDIT Late night thought....
I was watching some clips on u tube and ran across some police academy clips because I was watching Michale Winslow stuff and it hit me... Leslie Easterbrook. You know she played the Uber stacked tough sexy cop Debbie Callahan.
Yes it is late and my mind has strayed down.... that path. 8-)

OK I really need to stop thinking and typing now and give someone else a chance to say something.

Thanks for the reminder- I did ask Joel and Josh (MST3k, Cinematic Titanic) to be on a few months ago - I gotta follow that up.

Nope, I don't mind at all. I kinda expected that would happen.
In fact, I just went back and changed the title to guest suggestions

I'll second Joel McHale and I really like the Michael Winslow idea too. That's thinking outside the box.

While I'm here, I also had a couple of "reach for the skies" (as in, they'll probably say no, but you can always ask) suggestions:

Bruce Willis, for one. Who I saw on Letterman a few days ago in what seemed like a pretty heavily rehearsed bit, and it occurred to me I'd love to see him just being him for a change.

The other suggestion is the Honorable Governator of California himself, Arnold Scwarzenegger. Surely he must have a free Sunday afternoon to come down to L.A. and visit with a handful of voters. ;)

Two words: Penn. Jillette.

Make it happen. (Please?)
Despite what the registration TOS of this Forum would have you believe, "orientated" is not a word. Nor are "alot," "irregardless," "expresso," "sherbert," or "mischievious." Just saying.

Oh gads.... can you see him playing T5
Paris Tyra or the ex

He may have an unfair advantage there. ;)

Still that would be nice to see.

Penn would be a load of fun. :D But I think I would get more of a kick out of hearing the silent side of the show speak up. The Kevin Pollak Chat Show presents.... (drum roll please).... I SAID DRUM ROLL PLEASE!.... *snare drum rolls across the set* [sarcasm]Thanks...[/sarcasm] TELLER TALKS!! *TA DA!!!*
